Brow Procedure
Beautiful Brows begins with an appointment
Consultation
The first part of your brow journey is a consultation. This is normally done as part of your initial treatment, but can be done separately if you prefer. Sarah will talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what she might recommend. You are very much involved in this stage. Sarah will listen, respond and advise. We will also go through the necessary forms and paperwork.
Pre Draw
Once we have gathered an idea of the look you are aiming for; we will draw the shape of your new brows. These can be drawn on and adjusted as many times as necessary until you are confident with the way look! We will also take a look at pigment selection and decide together on the colour that will look best with your skin tone and achieve your desired look. The tattoo process will not begin until you are completely happy.
Procedure
The process normally takes about 1-2 hours, but it varies from person to person and will depend on your individual requirements. Immediately after a brow treatment you should expect the area to look around 30% darker. Don't worry the intensity will start to fade 3-5 days later.

Retouch
A second appointment is recommended 4-12 weeks after your first treatment. This is usually shorter appointment to add more pigment to the brows. As the area is healing, some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others - you may have a few patches that need redefining. This is completely normal and everyone heals slightly differently. It's always advised that you return to the clinic for your retouch.
FAQ's
How 'Permanent' is it?
Simple put - You’ve made a permanent change, it will just fade out over time.
Results and longevity vary greatly from person to person. Pigment retention can be affected by skin type, lifestyle, diet and environmental factors.
Do Permanent Makeup procedures hurt?
It doesn't hurt as such, it is more a sensation. The process itself is not usually painful thanks to the numbing agent used to ensure client comfort. With Microblading procedures it can be the sound of the blade which people find worse – a small scratching sound.
That being said, pain is a very unique experience and we all have different pain thresholds.
Does it fade & will I require any maintenance?
Over time, your permanent makeup will fade due to many factors such as natural skin exfoliation, sun exposure, medications. We recommend a retouch annually to retain your ideal shape and saturation of pigment however some clients may chose to have additional retouches throughout the year. A good indication of needing a retouch appointment is when you start having to fill in your brows with pencil or any other cosmetic product.
Do I have to shave off my own eyebrows?
Absolutely not. Quite the opposite in fact, Permanent Makeup is designed to enhance what you already have to create the most natural brow possible.
Can I chose what colour I want my brows to be?
